It was during a training course in Brussels, in a children’s home set up by the youth judge, that the idea of creating a project to help children in difficulty sprang up in Marie-Paule Nzanana’s head.

Her graduation work for her social worker diploma focused on “Organizational functioning and its impact on the lives of children in care”

After her studies, she created a non-profit organization to help orphaned children in Rwanda, unfortunately the project never came into being because of the war that ravaged the country in 1994.

When she completed her DSTS (Higher Diploma in Social Work – Management of Social Services and Supervised Education) in Senegal, her final work was entitled “The right of refugee children to education”. “. In short, a project for children has remained its great concern … until its realization through the non-profit organisation “Personalized Sponsorship”
